Nori seaweed is an integral part of Japanese cuisine. It is a subvariety of edible seaweed. Typically, it looks like thin dark green plates.
It is widely used:
- in sushi and rolls;
- in traditional Japanese salads;
- in miso soup;
- in Japanese appetizers;
- in food decoration;
- as a spice (for example, noodle).
Features:
- imported by the seller;
- nice taste and aroma of the sea;
- solid though elastic sheets;
- solid colour free of inclusions;
- zip lock bag extends shelf life.
Before cooking we recommend to open a package for 30 minutes so that the seaweed takes in moisture. Thereafter it can be easily bent.
Making a roll, a bright side must be inside, and a mat one - outside. Nori seaweed must be correctly kept: in a sealed package, dry place and away from sunlight as far as possible.
