Clam meat is very delicate and nice to the taste. In addition, it is nutritive and rich in vitamins and minerals. 

Clams can be cooked both as a dish or a component of other dishes:

"It requires careful defrostation. Clams must be defreezed either on a towel or in cold water. Never pour boiling water over clams or defreeze them in a microwave oven.

Before cooking, shells must be cleaned from sand residues by cold water. During cleaning a shell can open. It's absolutely normal. 2-3 minutes are enough to cook the clams.
